I am an attorney-at-law with over 10 years of experience in providing legal services to insurance market entities.
My professional practice mainly includes legal advice on the day-to-day operations of insurance companies and insurance intermediaries, including foreign entities, in particular on regulatory issues related to the commencement of insurance or insurance distribution activities in Poland, ongoing legal advice to entities in the financial services sector, drafting legal opinions for entities in the insurance sector (including on insurance distribution models and insurance products) and advising on Clients’ relations with regulators, including the PFSA, the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection, the Insurance Ombudsman, the IGF, the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection.
I also advise my Clients on personal data processing and protection, including drafting complete documentation related to the processing of personal data by insurance companies and insurance distributors, as well as on competition and consumer protection and anti-money laundering (AML).
I am co-author of the commentary to the Insurance and Reinsurance Activity Act and the commentary to the Insurance Distribution Act.
I conduct training courses aimed primarily at entities in the insurance industry.
In my professional work, I am fluent in Polish and English and – in varying degrees of proficiency – in German, French, Spanish and Italian.
