I started my adventure in the insurance industry in 1996, exactly 27 years ago, as an underwriter at Nationale-Nederlanden. After a few months of learning “risk assessment from behind the scenes”, I started working in the sales network management department at NN, to join the company’s legal team at the end of 1997. Since then, I have been continuously providing legal advice to the insurance industry.
I have worked both as an in-house lawyer (including head of the legal team) in various insurance companies, as a leader of the financial services practice in an international law firm, and as a partner in a local Polish law firm.
My competence has been recognised for many years by clients, who recommend me as one of the best insurance lawyers in Poland in the Chambers&Partners and Legal500 rankings, and my professional experience has been recognised by the European Commission, where I was a member of the working group preparing a report for the Commission on the single insurance market in the EU. In my career, I was also an EIOPA expert appointed to the team developing a report on artificial intelligence in insurance.

Today, together with a group of excellent female lawyers, we form a team that knows insurance very well. In addition to our practical knowledge of the problems and challenges of the insurance market, we are also authors of commentaries to two key industry acts, namely – the Insurance and Reinsurance Activity Act and the Insurance Distribution Act, published by the C.H. Beck publishing house.
On a daily basis, we also run the beinsured.pl portal dedicated to the financial industry.
However, insurance is not everything. Our expertise and experience also covers issues related to IT services, data protection, corporate law and public procurement. In a nutshell – we provide every entrepreneur with legal support to the fullest extent possible, in line with our motto:
