Agnieszka Wesołowska

I am an attorney and a member of the Warsaw Bar Association. I have many years of experience providing legal counsel to entities in the insurance market.

My professional practice focuses primarily on providing ongoing legal support for insurance companies and insurance brokers, as well as serving foreign entities—particularly on regulatory matters related to establishing insurance or insurance distribution operations in Poland— providing ongoing legal counsel to entities in the financial services sector, preparing legal opinions for entities in the insurance sector (including regarding insurance distribution models and insurance products), and advising clients on their relations with regulators, including the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF), PUODO, RF, UFG, and UOKiK.

I also advise my clients on the processing and protection of personal data, including the preparation of comprehensive documentation related to the processing of personal data by insurance companies and insurance distributors, as well as on competition and consumer protection and anti-money laundering (AML).

I am a co-author of a commentary on the Act on Insurance and Reinsurance Activities and a commentary on the new Act on Insurance Distribution.

I conduct training sessions primarily for companies in the insurance industry.

In my professional work, I am fluent in Polish and English, and I also have varying levels of proficiency in German, French, Spanish, and Italian.
